Ryan has started his Senior year!!

 "Excited" to start the new school year!

Not really, not until wrestling starts anyway.

But he has been called as the President of his Seminary Class

and he is really looking forward to the new responsibilities.

 And he was truly excited when he received
his letterman jacket the first day of school...

Birthday Pic 2013 - Early

I had an opportunity, yesterday, to take my annual picture of the boys.  My birthday isn't for another month but I wasn't able to get one last year so I grabbed the opportunity when I could.  Not sure how much longer I can call them "the boys"...

Tracy & Preston...



Tracy and Preston are on their way to San Diego.  They arrived in Cypress just in time to have their picture taken, with Ryan, at the opening of Bahama Buck's - some friends from church own it - and it's not far from our house.  We had never had it before and I must say it is soooo YUMMY!

The gangs all here!! Tracy and Preston will continue on to San Diego.  Tracy will return for their 3 dogs and her car as soon as they have a better understanding of what Preston will be doing and where they'll be living.  Until then, anyone want to walk a dog?  There are 6 dogs in our house (one of ours was under the bed for this picture).  Fun times!!

Ransom James turns 16!!

I asked Ransom what he wanted for his birthday...he asked if I'd ever been to Costco...he wanted to buy a case of soup...that's what he wanted for his birthday.  Anyway, I have a membership to Sam's Club so we went there and I let him choose a few other things.  You will note there is no soup - they didn't have the kind he was looking for!!  As we left Sam's with a trunk of food (I use that word loosely - can you say junk) he told me it was "the best birthday ever".
Happy Birthday, Ransom!  We love you!
